Brett Helsham is Australian-American. She was born and raised in Hong Kong and lived around the world, including South Korea, Belgium, Italy Australia and the United States. Brett has studied acting in Budapest, Hungary, Brussels Belgium and New York at the Lee Strasburg Theater & Film Institute where she trained in acting and singing. Brett is also trained and accomplished in Thai-Bo and other martial arts. Her fabulous singing voice has been likened to Judy Collins.
T.J. Plunkett was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. As a former National Junior Tae Kwon Do champion, 14 year-old T.J. is no stranger to the limelight. After playing Kim Basinger's son in "The Burning Plain," he landed the starring role in "The Abduction of Zack Butterfield," beating out over five hundred other boys.
Lisa Gunn's film work includes M. Night Shyamalan’s “The Happening,” “Christmas Present,” and “Family Jewels.” She has appeared in “As the World Turns,” “All My Children,” and “Law and Order.” On Broadway Lisa was seen in the 20th anniversary production of the musical “Annie” and “Marvin Hamlisch in Concert.” She has also appeared in numerous regional theatre productions and national TV commercials.
Aaron Letrick was born in Los Angeles and grew up in Detroit where he was raised in a household that was equally split between athletics and entertainment. He chose entertainment over a possible professional hockey career. He still plays competitively four plus times a week. He is the former lead singer of the rock bands “PLEEZER” and “HOUSE OF USHER” and was named “Top 20 Male Vocalists of the 90’s” by Progressor Magazine. He works on stage, film and television. He has played to many thousands live supporting the great bands of the 80’s, 90’s and into the New Millennium. Feeling the natural progression into stage acting he moved to New York to perform on Broadway. He has also done many national commercials and countless voice-over spots. Coming off a 32 episode run on ABC’s ALL MY CHILDREN and the new NHL-Verizon television and print campaign, Aaron is currently in the studio Producing an up and coming new rock band and is the Director, creator and star of “Billy Does Broadway” his show based on Boadway’s many “Billy” characters.
Walter Masterson is a rising New York actor. Born and raised in NYC, he booked his very first audition for the featured role of Scott in “L.I.E.” starring opposite Brian Cox, Paul Dano and written by Stephen Ryder. The critically acclaimed film went on to garner AFI, Independent Spirit, Stockholm festival awards and a Sundance Film Festival nomination. Walter went on to appear in “Bomb the System” where he played his real-life graffiti high school alter-ago, Hyste, featuring a soundtrack by Def Jam's El-P. Walter starred along side with Melissa Leo as a young Puerto Rican revolutionary in the film “I Believe in America”. He has had roles in the indies “Sacred Games”, “Grand Slammed”, “The Vortex”, “The Abduction of Zack Butterfield” and “Trophy Kids.”
Born on December 27th, Celine is a native New Yorker and descendant of one of the oldest aristocratic families in France. She began acting at the age of five. Celine's first professional breakthrough was testing for the lead role of Allie in Steven Spielberg's "Taken". Soon after, he gave her a role in Catch Me If You Can. She speaks fluent French, enjoys creative writing, piano and designing Limoges porcelain boxes for the family business.
Rick Lancaster (Director/Producer) has studied at Harvard University, Yale University, New York University, and holds Bachelor degrees in both Economics and Chemistry, as well as a Masters in Financial Engineering from Cornell University.
Excelling in both academics and athletics from an early age, Rick’s natural leadership abilities were already evident in high school. He was a member of the National Honor Society, United States Achievement Academy, Honor Key Recipient, listed in “Who’s Who in American High Schools,” and won 1st Place in competitions ranging from the Economics Investment Competition to the British Junior Open Golf Championship.
In college, Rick received the Dyson Scholarship for Academic Achievement, was Vice President of Zeta Psi, Chairman of Zeta Psi’s Supreme Council, held the position of Advertising Director for Cornell’s largest student-run event planning group, and served as Vice President of the Cornell Museum Club.
Rick is currently the Chief Financial Officer for Metropolis Films Inc., as well as being a member of the Cornell Engineering Society, American Finance Association, PRMIA, Editor’s Union and The International Association of Financial Engineers.
Stephen McClellan Ryder (Writer/Producer) was born in Monticello, New York in 1943. The seventh child of a retired U.S. Calvary trooper and the legendary showgirl Vicky Lynn, Stephen went straight from De Witt Clinton High School to the U.S. Army at the beginning of the Vietnam era, and upon resuming civilian life, became a police officer. After being injured on three occasions, his law enforcement career ended and Stephen took up the pen, becoming a police reporter, then a feature writer for the New York Daily News, where he was a candidate for Pulitzer Prize nomination for "Half The Power Of God.- A Police Story."
The early 1990’s brought a new career path. Stephen had long ago gone back to college and excelled. He became an educator after studies at Harvard, teaching writing at an exclusive prep school. During that time he wrote three books "The Man From Machupuchare," "Minstrel," and the much-heralded "Dinner Behind The Lines" for Bennington Books, selling out three editions.
In 2001 Stephen accepted a faculty position at NYU to teach screenwriting. NYU voted him "The Most Accomplished Faculty" in 2002. The success of his landmark film "L.I.E." and his fluency in French landed Professor Ryder a Producer's slot at Metropolis Films in Paris, and upon returning to the States, Monsieur Ryder took the helm of Metropolis' New York studio as Executive Producer, where he has written ten of Metropolis' feature films, and served as screenwriter and Executive Producer for Stargaze Pictures in Montreal. He is a member of The Academy of American Poets, The Dramatists' Guild, President of the International Association of Independent Filmmakers, and former CEO of Metropolis Films Inc. in New York.
Kevin Grossman (Editor) was born in Burbank, California. As a child Kevin would enjoy watching TV and movies, and it was then he realized that what he wanted to do was make films. Falling in love with the styles and the art of editing, he immediately enrolled at VIDEO SYMPHONY where he was certified in AVID and Final Cut Pro. Getting his start at a young age Kevin worked as an Assistant Editor on commercials. He Quickly worked his way up to editor and worked on commercials for the Make A Wish Foundation, Sketchers, and even did a Sony commercial that aired during the Super Bowl. This landed him a job at NBC where he worked on "Scrubs" and "Last Comic Standing". He continued working in LA on various projects until answering an ad on line which led him to move to New York for the opportunity to work with Stephen Ryder and Rick Lancaster on "The Abduction of Zack Butterfield." Kevin is also a semi-pro soccer player which has led him to play all around the world. He also has a bachelor’s degree in Film and Cinema Studies . Kevin would one day like to inspire other people to appreciate film in the ways other editors and film makers inspired him.
Mark Krench (Composer) a Detroit native, lived in Los Angeles for ten years where he scored feature films (Ceremony, A Marriage of Inconvenience), documentaries (AIDS: A Medical Alternative), short films, trailers, and PSAs. While in Los Angeles he attended the Film Scoring Program at the University of Southern California and studied with a number of film and television composers including David Raksin (Laura, The Bad and the Beautiful), academy award nominee Bruce Broughton (Silverado, Young Sherlock Holmes) and Christopher Young (Runaway Jury, Spiderman 3). He also participated in the BMI Film Scoring Workshop headed by composer Earl Hagen (I Spy, The Andy Griffith Show). Before moving to Los Angeles Mark studied music under Dr. James Hartway at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan where he received a Masters Degree in Music Theory and Composition. He also studied music composition with Prof. Robert W. Jones at Schoolcraft Community College. Mark currently works out of his studio in Wyandotte, Michigan where he lives with his wife, Jacqueline and their black cat Ebony.
